Senior Engineer — Apparel Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and operational excellence within an apparel production environment in Puerto Rico. Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work methods, and production workflows.
• Support garment cutting, sewing, assembly, and finishing operations.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and production efficiency assessments.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Establish standard operating procedures and manufacturing performance standards.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Support equipment improvements, process automation, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or production process improvement.
• Apparel, garment, or textile manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, time studies, standard times, and production efficiency.
• Strong analytical, technical, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
